𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
In 2013 Michael Hiscock won the Warwick Gold Cup with Hazelwood Advice (by Hazelwood Conman) and the Champion of Champions with Bonlac Gigolo.
10 years later in 2023 the Hiscocks repeated the double. Michael winning the Gold Cup again with Hazelwood Advice and wife Vicki winning the Champion of Champion with Mewburn Bamalam.
𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔:
🔷 1st Husband and wife to win this double.
🔷 1st Combination to win the Gold Cup 10 years apart.
🔷 1st Mare since the 80’s to win a Cup double.
🔷 1st Husband and wife to have the Champions and Gold Cup double twice.
Whatever way you look at it this has been an outstanding result for Michael and Vicki.
