Westlake Cool Breeze headed to Cloncurry for the experience. Lucy Daley said, and we quote, “We have no intention of going to win, we just want to show him nice, especially in the wet work.”

Well, show him nice they did, so nice infact that he and Kelly, who hadn’t ridden at Cloncurry in 26 years, placed 3rd in the Foundation Challenge, against Open age and Open status horses.

Never in their wildest dreams did they imagine they would be entering the coveted CLASSIC CHALLENGE in 5th position having placed 2nd in the Wet Work seeing them scale the ranks.

Lucy said, “We are thrilled, beyond expectations”.
