Incredible weekend for Matty & Luke Morrison. Not only were they able to attend the Rocky Rush Stockman’s Challenge & Campdraft to watch their stallion Proud Lil Pepto, they were on the coal face, working the gate to witness his back to back win in the Open Stockmans Challenge & Open Campdraft.

Congratulations boys and to Scott Schoo. Wonder if this is a first for Rocky Rush?

Last night’s Rocky Rush Open Challenge must have been a nail-biter. Proud Lil Pepto & Scott Schoo were out at draw #5 in the Wet Work and assumed an early lead (90.5 & 89).

With only 2 to go you would have thought they had it in the bag, but out came Josh Smith & QHX Docs Chisum (by RS Chisum) who joined them at the top of the leaderboard (92.8 & 87).

Congratulations to Scott & Proud Lil Pepto overall joint winner and winner of the Wet Work, and to Josh overall joint winner with QXH Docs Chisum & winner of the Dry Work with One Knight Stand (94.5).

The 89 point run that won the 2021 Rocky Rush Open Challenge Wet Work and saw Proud Lil Pepto & Scott Schoo overall joint winners.

This is just the 3rd Stockman’s Challenge for Pepto and under Scott’s guidance he’s getting better and better, having previously run 2nd highest in the Dry Work final at Cloncurry a few weeks ago.
