We don’t know where to start with this post we’re so flabergasted by this talented combination’s performance over the last few weeks.
In March they broke into the OPEN ranks following their Novice wins at Lockington & Bacchus Marsh.
One week later, the first week in April saw them place 3rd in the Wilby OPEN in Conjessman’s first start as an OPEN HORSE. This is where they won their first Novice.
And this weekend at Merton not only did they WIN THE OPEN with a 3 point margin, they placed 2nd in the OPEN FOR OPEN, pipped at the post by just one point.
We first met Smith Family Conjessman at the Classic in 2024, he was a Maiden horse who turned heads. Those in the know touted him at something ‘Special’. How right they were.
Huge congratulations to Jack and Conjessman and owner Bryan Proctor on this fairytale run! We can only imagine what the future has in store, bearing in mind Conjessman is 11 and Jack is 18.
