It was a sweet win for Moore Metal in the $15,000 Novice at North Star at the Weekend after trainer Trent Smith who was urgently hospitalised in Toowoomba during the show.
As the old saying goes “The Show must go on” and go on it did. Corey Holden stepped up to the plate and catch rode, with the support of Trent’s team.
We wish Trent a speedy recovery and applaud Corey for taking the reins and smashing the win with a 75.
