Will Durkin & Youngstar Marnies Glamour’s performance during the 2021 Triple Crown was next level.
Since Select Sires started in 2013 we’ve seen the Triple Crown Bonus Part B, won only once! That was in 2016 by superstar mare Eltorrio & Ben Hall.
Will Durkin and Marnies Glamour were the only horse and rider combination to have completed the criteria of finaling in each of the prestigious Triple Crown events, the Condamine Bell, the Chinchilla Grandfather Clock and the Warwick Gold Cup.
Before Will campaigned Glamour we all knew she was special we loved watching her with Ron Wall. Under Will Durkin’s hand she has gone on to greatness. This combination didn’t just win the Triple Crown Bonus, they blasted it out of the water, quite literally in the end, with scores of:
Glamour & Will also finished joint runner up in the Warwick Gold Cup and at Chinchilla joint runner up in the Grandfather Clock and runner up in the Restricted Open with scores of 90 & 91.
