Wyatt Young is cool as a cucumber, nothing seems to phase him. Pressure most certainly brings out the best in him. LANINA (by Metallic Storm) she’s oblivious to pressure, it’s business as usual…get the job done!

They entered the final in top position on 180 (91 88), as it turns out it provided the necessary buffer for the final. It didn’t go as planned in the camp, but they most certainly made up ground outside.

There is a beautiful backstory here, in essence, Amy Belcec Wyatt’s partner rode 2yo Lanina for breeder Lynda MacCallum, she loved her and when the opportunity arose to purchase her, the family rallied and she became theirs.

Before the final Lynda said, “We are extremely proud to have bred and trained this mare. Her story is incredibly special, being by the horse who holds a huge part of our story, “𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢” and out of our beautiful mare “𝙄 𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙐”. “

This is a win, win, on so may levels and we are so happy to have witnessed it tonight.
