Valley End Quarter Horses are proud to have bred Titanium Blue in 2019. He was sired by Ima Smooth Blue Cat, who needs no introduction, and is out of Boontown Blues who competed in the 2013 Open Futurity.
In addition to hailing from cutting royalty, he is also the full brother to “Im Smooth N Blue”, who won the 2019 NCHA Limited Open Futurity before going on to win and place in many cutting show events in Queensland.
This homozygous roan colt was broken in and commenced cutting training with Regan Lyons of Top Gun Horse Training and he certainly showed plenty of cowiness. As he grew out, Valley End Quarter Horses made the decision to take their time with Titan and give him enough time to be fully ready to compete and show his abilities.
Titan was then taken on by Cody & Claudia Spencer of Synergy Performance Horses who also have Tuff Lil Spoon (IMP). Titan continued to grow and flourish under their tutelage and as a not yet 4yo went on to win the 2023 Nebo Classic Challenge in the September, winning with an impressive 17.5 point margin on his very first hit out.
After that one start in 2023, Titan came out firing the following season with a series of wins and finals including the Nutrien Futurity Cut Out (placing 3rd in the Classic Challenge), Bowen River Futurity Cut Out, Greenvale Futurity Cut Out (placing 3rd in the Classic Challenge), winning the Cloncurry Futurity Campdraft, Flinders Classic Challenge Wet Work (finishing 2nd in the Classic Challenge overall), and Black Magic Future Stars final.
Titans are, by definition, Godlike, strong, powerful and important. We watch the rise of this Titan with much anticipation.
