A very exciting chapter of horse breeding is about to gain momentum and it will undoubtedly produce champions in every sense. Jaye Hall is mentoring their young colt, Eldorrio, to become a star in a very famous stable and without doubt she is excited at what the future will hold for this full brother to their highly decorated mare, Halls Eltorrio.
The contribution to campdraft genetics from the Ben and Jaye Hall stable is immense. They breed, train and compete with home bred horses carrying generations of Daley bred genetics. They also regularly offer young horses for sale so the wider community is able to share in the success of years of careful breeding.
Daleys Rio sired Daleys Rio Legend, who sired Daley’s Playrio who has now sired Eldorrio. This paternal line needs no introduction as winner after winner appears carrying this “Playrio” bloodline.

As Daleys Playrio is approaching a grander age Jaye and Ben were looking for something special to replace him as their resident sire and with such a grand band of broodmares it was inevitable that a potential champion would appear. However, when Eltorrio had such a clean correct younger brother with her looks, ability and temperament it was obvious that Eldorrio would be given every opportunity to be that replacement sire.
Eldorrio and Eltorrio are from Kate Everett’s mare Morrisons Citori, By Morrisons Top Gun and carrying both Elliotts Creek Cadet and thoroughbred bloodlines. Natural cattle sense and ability abound and from reading Eltorrio’s CV which includes winning the Canning Downs and the ACA Open Horse of the Year, the combination of Citori and Playrio genetics is a breeding masterstroke that is producing “SIMPLY THE BEST”.
