After a terrible car accident back in October 2024 Yasmin Carley’s life changed forever. However through the support from her dearest family, friends and the love of a Duck N Down mare “Crystal Park Pipe Down” affectionately known at home as “PIP”, Yasmin is improving.

Yasmin was in a coma for 17 days, suffered multiple limb injuries, was in hospital for 5 months and had to learn to walk again.

Yasmin has been working extremely hard with her rehabilitation, even entering Pip in some led classes at the Ag Shows. She is committed to build strength and endurance to one day be able to swing a leg over her little mare once again.

Yasmin says “Pip is such a sweet and sensitive little mare, while she can be unsure sometimes she tries her very hardest and I trust her to take care of me“.

Duck’s owners Jamie & Kara desribe Yasmin as “AN INSPIRATION”.  They look forward to seeing her reach her goals, one day at a time, and so do we! ❤️
