Select Sires welcomes Kingsfield Just Louie

KINGSFIELD JUST LOUIE is one of the first son of Cattalou to stand at stud in Australia, he represents generations of elite performance genetics brought together in one package.

He ain’t no ordinary competitor, from the get go he and Aaron Hausfeld switched seamlessly back and forth between cutting and campdraft, with equal success.  They boast an Open Futurity win back in 2022.

This is the first time Louie will stand at stud. Owners Rob Blacker & Alison Robertson said that before offering Louie to outside mares they made a conscious decision to breed him exclusively within their own program and with Aaron’s mares, to ensure he could pass on the qualities they valued most.  “We wanted to be certain he would add value to the mares he covered.  The young horses are showing us exactly that. The foals are stunning.

The early results have exceeded expectations. His first progeny, 2yo a/o 2026, are proving to be athletic, trainable and naturally talented, carrying the same willing temperament that has defined Louie’s own career.

As Louie continues his own competitive career, Alison and Rob are excited about the next chapter.  “We’d love to see more Louie’s on the ground and out competing. He’s been such a special horse for us, and we’d like other people to experience that too.
