Josie Perrett Creative is an equine media specialist offering photography, videography and social media management. Services include equine event coverage (campdrafts, cow horse, cutting and rodeo), sale horses and business branding shoots.

This is Josie’s story as told by Josie herself:

My creative journey started over 12 years ago with a small DSLR camera that I received for Christmas and I began following my horses around a paddock snapping photos for hours on end. Friends would come over and I would insist that they pose with my horses so that I could take photos of them.

After moving from QLD to NSW 2 years ago(a/o 2026), I quickly found my place in the equine industry and built Josie Perrett Creative (rebranded from Josie Perrett Photography) around what I know and love most, horses. Being a rider, breeder and competitor myself means I genuinely understand what people want to see in their photos, videos and social media content.

As mentioned above, I am a rider and competitor who loves campdrafting, challenging and recently discovered a new discipline, reined cow horse. Each year I aim to breed 2 to 3 foals and thoroughly enjoy the entire process of breeding and watching them grow into the next generation of performance horses.

Seeing people truly love my work is what drives me. Whether it’s a comment, a message, or positive feedback from a committee, it motivates me to keep raising the bar and doing justice to the industry.
