“I have insured with two other major companies for a number of years with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of performance and breeding horses but have recently looked into Howden Insurance. I found they have the most competitive premiums and better conditions in relation to claims compared to most other companies.
I recently began changing my horses over to Howdens and have dealt with Maggie Johnston all the way through. She could not have been more helpful, going out of her way to get things in place, sometimes at short notice or over the weekend.
I would highly recommend considering Howdens when looking for an insurer for your performance horses.”
~ Donna Sadler
“Howden’s personable approach has taken the stress out of insuring our horses and client horses. Maggie is extremely helpful and thorough in discussing options, and their Agreed Value Clause is one of the major benefits for us. We now have better coverage for less time and money.”

“Just 6 weeks into our policy, we experienced a devastating loss and Howden Equine Insurance were there for us through it all. The Howden equine team and our vets liaised together to make the claim process as painless as they could with a super quick turn around and the payout hitting our account literally 48hrs after submitting the paperwork.
Some months later we were fortunate to find another horse and the Howden team were there again to help. Thank you to Maggie and Howden Equine for all you did for us during our tragedy. I can highly recommend Howden Equine Insurance to protect you and your horse.”

The team was not only professional but also incredibly compassionate, making the entire process stress-free. They treated me with a personal touch that is rare to find these days, ensuring I felt supported every step of the way.
