Brilliant news! Moore Metal is heading back to the breeding barn. Yesterday Rob & Jacqui Jones made ethe following special announcement on Facebook.
It is with great joy that we are able to offer our stallion MOORE METAL back to the breeding barn this coming season.
Through what has been a very tough and emotional time through the last 12 weeks for all involved, it`s great to see Joey able to recover enough to continue his journey.
We as a family felt that we would not publicise Moore Metal’s outcome to the public via social media due to allowing the Smith family to mourn the loss of their loved one, Ken Smith.
We also wanted time to then allow the owners to mourn the loss of their beautiful horses. We were lucky to still have Joey and did not want to disrespect the owners by posting photos of him when they had lost so much.
As we are yet unaware as to what the future holds for him, we are confident enough he will be seen again in an arena.
To all those people who have supported him with hopes and prayers for his full recovery, our family wishes to thankyou.
Your support has lifted us physically and emotionally to move forward in a positive direction for not just Joey but ourselves.
All this could not be possible without the outstanding work carried out by a very special man, Mr. Ross Pedrana and his team from Dubbo Equine Veterinary hospital. The dedication and expertise he has shown throughout this whole ordeal has been impeccable. You forever kept us well informed, sending photos, videos and ringing constantly with a positive and upbeat attitude of his progress. We could never thank you enough.
While it has been difficult to type this emotionally, we must move on and with this said, thank you all once again.
