Glencoe Last Word’s progeny speak volumes.

Glencoe Last Word’s progeny speak volumes.  He is a sire who has bred on and his progeny are breeding on. Breeders can’t speak highly enough of him, as these testimonials attest.

Each are delighted that he is being given the recognition that he so richly deserves.

Glencoe Chick Chat (Chitty) & Abbey Webb are an accomplished team who won or placed at every outing.  Success at the highest level, including the Sydney Royal saw this combination achieve across discipline.

Abbey describes her as a “Once in a Lifetime horse” and already has 2 foals out of her and has plans to continue breeding from her.

Owner Katrina Copping feels Ellora Dannan is the ideal ladies horse. Versatile, trainable and reliable.  Katrina says, “We travelled extensively to competitions and clinics in SA, Vic and NSW – we have had fun at everything from dressage to the ASH Nationals to going to Women in Campdrafting.”

Ellie competed successfully at dressage and all levels of ASH competition including Royal and National.

Glencoe Posh was the first of Last Word’s fillies to be sold.  At just 16 months she sold for $12,250 to Shane and Janet Everingham. Earmarked for a show career and futurities, “Posh” certainly delivered.

Posh was sold on to Terry Snow for $20,000 and sources tell us, “She’s Terry’s favourite mare, actually she is everyones’ favourite mare here at Willinga Park!”

“She is an eye catching, very beautiful & great natured mare, she is the perfect broodmare that breeds her quality onto her progeny.”

Glencoe Pretty Neat was exported to the USA by owner Kellee Campbell.  “January 6, 2020 was her first Working Equitation outing, and she was wonderful!  So calm and accepting.  This big mare is going to grow into a fabulous mover and we love her!”

Sandhaven thought enough of Pretty Neat after her arrival that they shipped semen from Last Word into the US late last season.  Unfortunately Corona virus  means there is no foals by him as yet, but they are planning to put a TB mare to him.  Exciting times ahead!
