Campdraft stallion Adios Acres goes Hacking!

Whilst this time last week all eyes were on Warwick, life did go on elsewhere. At Gunnedah’s Northern Branch Stock Horse Show, with Katie De Jong at the helm they won….wait for it….

  • Reserve Champion led Stallion
  • Reserve Champion Station Horse
  • Champion Hack, Champion Working
  • Supreme Ridden horse of the Show and
  • High Point Horse of the Show.

Huge congratulations to Katie, Barbara N John Lee and to Adios Acres, what an outstanding all rounder.

…And if it wasn’t exciting enough Adios Acres cleaning up at the Show, his daughter also got in on the action. Jats Bar Unique and Barbara Lee placed:

  • Champion Novice Hack
  • 2nd in the Novice working
  • Winner both hack classes in the 4yr old & Encouragement Challenges and
  • 3rd overall in both Challenges.

This is all the more remarkable as Barbara hasn’t shown a horse for 25 years. This was her 2nd show, the first only two weeks prior when she & Jats Bar Unique placed 2nd in the 4yr old working mare at ASHS NSW Breeders Championships at Narrabri.
