The 2018 SDP Buffalo Ranch Futurity got underway this morning at the AELEC. First event was the Open Classic Challenge GR1. A great day of cutting, the bar has been set for the rest of the competition.
Winner of the Open Classic Challenge GR1 was Desirey & Scott Campbell on 221, closely followed by Hydrive Cat mare Dara Miss Cocoa Chanel & Aaron Wheatley on 219.

The afternoon saw the first 2 herds of the Open Futurity. It wouldn’t be the Futurity without RS Chisum featuring heavily at the top of the leaderboard. After 2 herds today his daughter Little Rattler & Jason Leitch sit at the top of the Open Futurity leaderboard, unofficially, with a 217.
The remaining herds will be run tomorrow.
